Hello fellow PCC students. Do you need money? Well, we have some scholarships here for the taking. Check them out:

1. <<Be Involved!>>
As a student at Pasadena City College, it is not uncommon to be involved in either a club or volunteering in some sort of organization. For this scholarship, tell us how you are involved in your school/community. What motivated you to get involved? How has your activity affected you as a person and as a student? Etc.

2. <<No Write or Wrong>>
As the name suggests, there is no right or wrong way to complete this scholarship. To apply, just submit any sort of original, written document you wish. It can be an essay, a poem, a short story, nonfiction, etc. Be creative and have fun!
Applicants will be evaluated on grammar, creativity, content, style, impact, and purpose, among other subjective criteria. Essays should be no longer than 1000 words, short story no longer than 2000 words. Please provide a brief synopsis/summary of your work.

3. <<STEM Major>>
As a student with a STEM major, it is important to always begin with the end in mind. For this scholarship, we would like to know: Why did you choose this major? How does your major relate to your future career goals? Being a requirement for this scholarship, how was your experience taking/being in math 5a? How would receiving this scholarship benefit you? Etc.

4. <<45-Second Scholarship>>
Are you tired of writing essays for scholarships? Do you know how to work a room? Then this scholarship is for you! All you have to do is meet with the Finance Committee and give a 45-second elevator pitch explaining why YOU should receive this scholarship; you will then be given a 45 second interview. It’s that simple!
